ca What is the name of your state?

My husband and I are divorcing. He took me off our joint checking account and the account is now solely his. Our state income tax refund check was made payable to both of us, however it was electronically deposited to HIS checking account. He will not split it 50/50 with me. He has kept it all. Do I have any recourse against the bank for them allowing him to cash it solely?

My response:

Your recourse is in the Family Law court - - where your case is filed. Your husband is a dolt if he thinks that he'll be able to keep all the money in this Community Property State.
