Hi -

I plan on starting an ecomm business from home.
I was told that in my county, I need to fill an application for a "home occupation permit" along with my business license permit. Currently we're having our LLC papers drawn up. I was wondering if obtaining a home occupation permit legally ties my home to the corporation or puts it in harms way if the LLC is sued? In other words, if I have an LLC but working from home, is my home protected from any legal ramifications if my LLC is sued?

Thanks much for your help.
