Third Pary Defendant Process

I'm being sued in NC small claims. I have a need to add a THIRD PARTY DEFENDANT and would like to know the process of such.

I've been to the NC magistrates office to file but the girl there has no idea. I've looked it up online on www.attorneysnc. com and it says to file a "THIRD PARTY COMPLAINT" form. She knows of no such form. She says I have to file a motion to add a THIRD PARTY DEFENDANT ??

I've submitted my written answer. I want to file a counterclaim and add a THIRD PARTY DEFENDANT but need to know the process and when to do it.
