I got a judgement in December of 2001, posted it in court with a lien against the other party. I thought that was it. Now i got contacted by a "judgment recovery specialist" telling me that there is a "time limitation on collecting a judgment". Help! Do I really need to involve a third party?

There is a time limit. A Texas judgment is good for 10 years.... and can be renewed.

No, you do not NEED one..... but if you can't enforce the judgment on your own, you might consider one. After all, something recovered is better than nothing.
