What is the name of your state? TEXAS

It is my understanding that LLC's (as well as corporations for that matter) do not shield personal liability in the event of intentional torts. Is this an accurate statement? What about for unintentional torts such as negligence? For example, if you have a one member LLC and that member gets drunk and kills someone while on a work related drive, is he shielded by the LLC protection?
