I had my road bicycle in the back of my car and was rear ended, bending the frame (thin wall aluminum), which can't be repaired. the other driver's insurance has taken reponsibility, and is paying for my car and bike.

I bought the bike about 2 months ago in conjunction with several others, so I got a discount that brought the price down from $863 to $719 (which I have a receipt for, along with a quote for a new bike at $863).

Does the insurance company have to pay me the replacement value, or only the amount that I paid?

Thanks for your help.
