What is the name of your state? Penna.

Several boys were playing football in the fenced yard next door. One

One of the boys kicked the football over the fence and shattered the

glass of the rear view window in a 1996 Ford Probe. The boy is ten

or eleven years old. Since no one saw the actual damage of the window,

but the boy did admit to kicking the football over the fence and going

around to the other side of the fence and picking up the ball which

was beside the car. His parents are saying he is not at fault and

wont't pay. Is he or isn't he?

Did you get a police report? What does it say?

Shattered window, rear side, on a 1996 Ford Probe

Penna.
I did contact the police and they said, it was a civil case, If it couldn't
be settled, then go to the magistrates. There isn't any cooperation on
their part.

Then file against your homeowner's policy your auto policy or whatever insurance you have and let the insurance company fight it out.

If you have to pay a deductable then sue them for the difference.
