What is the name of your state? Maine

I was hurt on the job the first week of June this year (wrist problems)
I was put on FMLA by Human Resources (Federal Mandated Leave of Absence, or something) so i could work less than scheduled hours if my hands were bothing me and I had to go home.

Basically spent all summer going to therapy and exhausting option after option. The therapy place referred me to a hand specialist which put me on modified duty so I work 4 hours instead of 8, but get paid close to 8 hours worth total.

I was wondering about the hours lost over the summer due to my problem, and if I entitied to those lost hours. According to the hand specialist, I obviously should've been put on a modified work duty status at first but it took almost 5 months for it to happen.

I am not sure about your question, but FMLA is the Family Medical Leave Act! LOL! This protects you, in certain situations of injury to you, or a close family member, in case you need a modified work schedule, or time off.

i meant should i be backpayed for all those hours lost due to injury since the doctor should have just put me on modified duty in the first place
