Is it legal for a wholesaler to refuse to give the normal wholesale discount to an online business simply based on the fact that the company will not have the normal overhead expenses of a retail store and they refuse to sale to online stores? The insinuation of this refusal was that the internet store might set prices lower than the normal retail stores can because of lower overhead.

Also this wholesaler has a fairly unique product and if they have an existing wholesale customer in an area they will refuse to give another store the wholesale discount based on the fact that it could cause competition for the existing customer. Is this legal if the new customer can buy in the same quantities, etc?

Would there be any law whereby the wholesaler is forced to sell to anyone, much less an online business, and then at a set price? I'm not sure there is.
