The private security firm I work for, sends us to locations for duty on a daily basis. We leave for these locations from our homes, and usually incur 35 to 60 miles in travel, ONE WAY to these locations.
The company has just informed us that the mileage re-imbursement has been curtailed, and that we will no longer be paid mileage.
Can they arbitrarily do this?
Are we not entitled to some re-imbursement for travel to and from job locations?
