I am forming a LLC to conduct an online store. All
products will be dropshiped by the manufacturers. The
products will include home furnishings (beds,
mattresses, carpeting). My feeling is that, at least
for the first year or so, there is not a necessity for
any insurance coverage for the LLC. There will be
liability coverage for my personal assets from the LLC
and I will not have any employees. In the event the LLC
was sued, I would be willing to let its assets go
since they would be minimal in the first two years.

How are others with startup online stores handling this, and what is the attorney prospective?

Starting any business without insurance is like jumping into the Gulf of Mexico with your hands strapped to the nearest powerline.
