What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Texas.

I lost my job without any notice because someone called the owner of the company i worked for and told her i was harrassing this person's husband, begging for his phone number, even after he told me that he was married and didn't want me to have his number. The person said that she was sick of it and if something wasn't done about it then she would press charges on me for sexual harrassment. In result I was terminated without explaination. I did not commit this crime. I was wandering if there was something I could do about slander/defamation of character. Is it possible for me to explain this to my former employer to get my job back? My boss also told me that the lady did not leave her name, husband's name, or husband's workplace.

If you don't know who called then how are you going to sue them.

You are free to try to explain this to your employer, but whether you will then get your job back depends on your employer. They are not REQUIRED to give you your job back, even if you can prove beyond the shadow of any possible doubt that you are innocent of the allegations.
