What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Texas

I am a licensed real estate agent in Texas and would like to form an LLC for tax and personal liability purposes. However, I have gotten conflicting advice from different CPA's. One of them has told me that I cannot form an LLC since Texas seperates licensed sales agents from licensed brokers and I am not a broker. The other has told me that it doesn't matter and I can form an LLC without a problem. Anyone know of Texas laws that apply here?

**A: you can form an LLC but it would have nothing to do with your RE license. Licensing laws state that you as an individual must be under a licensed broker and your liabilty remains as such.
