what are the lemon laws for a used car? we purchased a truck from a dealer
about 4 months ago, my husband put antifreeze in it and now it is leaking,
we had it checked and we were told it has a crack in the block, so we beliieve the dealer that sold it to us knew and put something in it to seal it since there was no antifreeze in it, also he replace that alternator for us because as we were driving it off the lot it quit, we have also had to replace the fuel pump like a month or so after we got it, now the engine, we paid
this man 7200.00 for the truck, 5500.00 up front fianced the rest, and now just paid him off, what rights do we have?

Lemon laws do not cover used cars.

Was there a warranty with it?

Can you prove that the block was cracked before you bought it AND that the seller knew it?

It would be helpful to know the make of the truck, the engine size, and the miles.

Readers: Is it possible that adding cool antifreeze into a severely overheated engine and then running it(assuming it was overheated!)caused a problem (like a cracked block)?
