A person in my town was suspected of selling drugs. The police went to his apartment building and onto a fire escape to look into his apartment. When they looked in, they saw the person selling heroin to elementary school age children. They broke the window and arrested him without a search warrant. The reason the police gave was that if they had to obtain a search warrant, they might not have been able to "catch" him. This clearly violates the fourth amendment; does it violate any other amendment? Is there any other way to declare this unconstitutional?

Illegal Arrest, incompetence and racism

The person that this is about lives in Baltimore Maryland. His Mother said that he was illegally fooled to go back to Alabama for a crime that he did not commit. He went back on his own freewill, because he is innocent. Also while in jail, the corrections officials have planted evidence on him (in his cell). One day they came in and said a knife was his, and it wasnt, (shakedown) then the next day a hatchet). His Mother strongly believes that his arrest is invalid and they did not finger print him. His prints are no where to be found on the evidence or places that they should be, if he copmmitted the crime. I will get further info as it comes available. His mother really believes that he has a lawsuit situation on his hands. She just needs some help. She doesnt have the big time money for Johnny Cochran or F Lee Bailey. So what does she do?? Thanks. Please advise. Superruff99, C Davis
