What is the name of your state? Ohio

I was recently ticketed for speeding. My speed and the posted speed limit were written in on the ticket, but the mode of detection (ie, laser, radar, officer stationary or in motion) was not listed. Is this information required on the citation?

Thanks.

Some states do require this info on the ticket, Ohio may not be one of them, but you can try to find out. My guess is that it is not a critical error. Regardless, you can (and should) find out what was used long before court date by requesting discovery ASAP. That is, if you want to fight the ticket.
