I am starting a recruiting (headhunter) LLC with another individual. Both are bringing existing business into the deal. We do not have alot of cash and would like to have some kind of variable interest in the LLC. In other words, we would each receive what we put into each search. That could range from 100% to 10%, depending on who brings the client and who does the work. One of us may take the summer off and the other get 100% of the revenue from that period. It is just the two of us, no employees, building, anything at this time or in 2006 most likely.

Is it possible to set this up as an LLC?

I was under the impression that you had to have some kind of split defined (ie 50/50). In that case, it would be impossible for us to do because of timing of client payments, etc.
