What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? PA

I was recently issued a traffic ticket for doing 67mph in a 50mph zone in NJ. I just noticed that the officer wrote the wrong state for my driver's license. My state is PA, and he wrote NJ.

I intended to go to court to hopefully reduce the penalty, but I wanted to know if that incorrect state information is enough to dismiss the ticket altogether.

Thanks

Nope. Not even close.

A reduction is a definite possibility. Most traffic courts make offers to reduce at the initial appearance.
