SAFP

Does anyone know anything about the SAFP program in Texas for drug offenders? How is the program structured? How does it compare to other rehab programs? If you are sentenced to SAFP because of a probation violation does that mean you are now convicted of a felony if you had deferred adjudiafication? Any info. would be helpful.
