Basicly my employer has terminated me for an incident involving a customers vehicle. In my opinion the area of fault occured in a location where another installer was working. I was terminated this morning and told I would not recieve my final check unless I signed a document they had prepared saying I admitt fault. The incident cost the store $185 total, I don't see how working as a W2 employee I can be held liable for this personaly. I also don't believe I should sign a form admitting I was at fault since I don't believe I was. Can he legaly hold my check if I don't sign?
