incident from long time ago

What is the name of your state? It happen in California about 1984-85.
I was caught drunk in a stolen vehicle I was so drunk all I know was that I wake up in jail and from my recolection i was let go,at that point in time I was new in the country and did not speak the language nor did I know the system, so right after that I moved to another state and never got in trouble again,what happenned to those charges and are they still valid after all this time?How can I find out about that?

If they charged you, they probably also issued a warrant for your arrest if you disappeared without attending court.
