first court date 12-7-05 plead not guilty
trial is 1-24-06
was my right to speedy trial violated?
also the charce on traffic ticket was t180 sub b
was supposed to be 1180 sub b.
reason for dismissal?

Don't play dumb. You have not even told us when you got a ticket, but regardless, it's unlikely your right was violated, unless it's been a year.

No reason for dismissal if the ticket had a typo. You will be charged with correct statute (speeding), at trial time.

If you tell us specifics of the case, such as speed, what was used to clock you, etc. then maybe you will get a better advice on how to deal with it.
