What is the name of your state? colorado

Hello,

My father disappeared 6.5 years ago. The case hasn't been solved but is speculated as foul play. My mother was issued a death certificate because no body had been found after 5 years of no word.

I was wondering how i could aquire a copy of the case file... or if i can even. My sister and I should have every possiblity to know what has happened with my fathers case... NO ONE will talk to us reguarding it. Last we knew the case may have gone to the FBI. For certain it was with the CBI. I managed to get the case on Unsolved Mysteries- but to no avail, it helped very little.

Please help.

Thanks in Advance
Tonee & Sara :(

what have you tried?

besides asking people in the courts, why won't your mother give you a copy. there is a website you can go to, that gives simple court things. Where i live, it's called Wisconsin Circuit Court access... and i google that.. to get the link. you could see what that would give you.. if anything. i'm sorry about your situation :(

Kind of vague on the information supplied, but from what you did provide:

I would start with a formal request with CBI, then FBI. Then do your own search or enlist a PI.

Here are some Colorado bases to start. Many more if you need them. Just ask.
