What is the name of your state? Nevada.

A claims adjuster called me to take information regarding a disability claim that I wanted to make. She told me to file the claim quickly so that she could deny it as being late. I researched the Nevada Revised Statutes and found several exceptions to the delayed filing denial. I sent my claim in with a letter that included the sections of the NRS and irrutable proof from my medical specialist that I was disabled and that it was the disability itself that prevented timely filing. I received a letter of denial stating a section of the NRS as the basis for this denial. I researched the NRS and found that there was no such section as the one stated in the letter of denial. I handled claims amd investigations for the federal government for 21 years and know how to read a lawbook. This adjuster had an absolute duty to investigate all claims before ftat out denial a claim. I believe she is guilt of Bad Faith, Misconduct and Fraud for quoting a non-existent section of Nevada law to deny my claim. I would like some opinions of how and where to proceed in this matter.

If you don't like the decision, then appeal.
