There's nothing you can do about it, except read the First Amendment to the Constitution.

You did not mention where the profile was posted, or the nature of the content you consider to be "damaging". So, I'll take a shot, just for fun.

If it was a "member profile" posted on MSN, you are in luck. MSN has announced that the first week of January, 2006 they will be deleting ALL MSN member profiles containing any type of "adult content". The statement also included a notice that there is a "third party" free site available where adult content is allowed, and included a link to the site.
