What is the name of your state?KY

I currently reside in GA but the person that I'm wanting to sue is in KY. This person owes me $9400. The max amount for small claims is $1500. If I do not pursue this matter in small claims, what are my options?

Not anexpert, but I've sued someone in KY for $5000.00. You can't use Small Claims if you want your $9400, you'll have to sue in Civil Municipal Court -- and that's "real" court so you'll HAVE to get a lawyer -- trust me.

Options:
1) Get an attorney and sue them in 'real' court, or
2) Forget about the debt, or
3) Contact 'Uncle Vinny' and pay him to visit 'the person'.
