Got this from an x-pal, today. I had not been able to get into our boomspeed account [storage site for gifs], for some time. I thought she changed the password.
I reported this to boomspeeds management. Was having problems getting in. This went on for a few months now. When I finially got in. I decided to change the pw. I knew she had all the url's to her tags. And, since I was paying with my credit card, I did not want her to delete my stuff.
She had sent me some money to help pay for the storage. If I used my credit card. So she did not have to use hers.
I was not going to mess with her stuff. I had no reason to. We have lots of space. The money for the site would run out in Aug. this year.{ $6. a month}

Now I get this**************....
What do you think? What if I deleted the account all together? I was the one who put in the tags. She did not know how to do it. All this is my work. My gift to her of the many tags. So, ?? I can then send her a refund of the remaining time.

The Boomspeed password has been changed again and I would like it changed back by Thursday, January 26, 2006 to *****as previously agreed upon. I am writing to give you the opportunity to do the right thing. If you chose not to, then I have no choice but to take legal action.

We met with my attorney today, and he is prepared to handle all legal documents pertainly to this situation. I have provided him with enough necessary proof needed to proceed, and he feels there will be no problem to proceed and file a case.

If you chose the latter, we will finally get to meet; however it will not be under the circumstances you imagined. This is all about principles. For me, the money is not an object. I would hate to see you have to make a trip to Illinois over making an incorrect choice.

Let me know how you plan to resolve this issue.

She wants to sue me. Because she helped pay for the site. So she can store her name tags. I told her she did not have to. But, she has send some money to help out anyway.

Her tags are still stored on the site. She has the urls to them all. But, has not been able to get into the site. Boomspeed has told us both wrong pw and errors on page. But, sometimes you can get in.
No my fault.

I have been able to get in there. And, fix it so she can get in with out a pw. And, told her she can use the site till Aug. 2006. I have deleted most of my stuff I have had stored there.

She wants to sue because she is mad at me for another reason. I kicked her off a message board I run.

Does she have a case??

You make me very sad. I have told you I have had a problem with boomspeed for months. I have it documented on their help page. I had thought maybe you had changed the pw. But, after seeing lots of others were having the same problem. I blew that off. I kept getting wrong pw, and other errors.

Now you send me this threatening email. Wanting to sue me for, the time left till Aug. Which is $42.

I started the boomspeed to store tags. And, anything needed for the message board, clear day. I took great pleasure in getting you lots and lots of wonderful name tags. 99% of them made just special for you. Just a few snagged. I uploaded them to the site. Then copied the urls and sent them on to you. So you would not have to visit the site to get the links. Most of this was done by my using, dial up. In any case it took alot of time. But, I liked making you happy.

I also, made sure no matter what happen to boomspeed you would always have your wonderful tags. I loaded them on 3 CD's for you. Adding all the blinkies, other names, and more goodies to it. So you would have tons of stuff to play with, no matter what.
When you did send money to help pay for storage. I always told you that you did not need to do that.
I had my tags there too. I used my credit card, to make the automatic payments. I did all the uploading. You never added one thing to the site. So all the work has been logged with MY IP, on boomspeed. No one elses.

I have only been able to get on the site about 4-5 times, since the problem started. I have not really needed to go there. So do not know how long this problem has been going on.

I had started another free storage site, awhile back. When there was another problem with boomspeed. Remember?

Anyway. I have all my credit card reports, my IP documentation from boomspeed, and my problems documented on the help page.

When I get in there next. I will delete all my crap, and give you the site. And take off any pw if I can. I hope to do that before Thursday. Cause I am having a biopsy done that day. And, may not feel like getting on line.

I will not touch your tags. They were a gift to you. And, after Aug, 2006 boomspeed will no longer be charged to my credit card.
I am also sending you a check in the mail. I hope this will take care of the problem.

We now are able access the boomspeed account as of this morning. I'm delighted you understand how boomspeed works, you must know boomspeed also keeps records of who deletes links. (Nancy says: all the work has been logged with MY IP) Boomspeed's records indicate many of my links have recently deleted (yes, your IP number logged) Below is not a complete list.

Boomspeed's co-operation has been pivotal in this matter and has supplied us with reports of all operational funtions of this site. We expect that these images will be fully restored. Destroying personal property can be prosecuted, your IP number is responsible. We do know every time you logged into this site. Your explainations are not accurate as to the reports we have received. However, you once reported to the help forum 12-23-05 @ 13:23.

Please, don't be mistaken that I would file a case for only $42. Don't bother sending a check, I will not be accepting any money from you.
