I work in Florida and recently I have discovered that the executives in our company have accessed my machine without my permission.

In doing this they have gone through my email and all my folders in my email client and computer.

Is this legal in Florida?

What are my rights in this situation?

Under what circumstances would my employer be aloud to do this and in what circumstances would he not be aloud to do this?

Can anyone help?

a.

"Accessed your machine." Is this a machine (computer) that you use at work? If so, the company can "access" anything they want, including your work locker. It belongs to them lock, stock and barrel and so does anything stored on it. You can not have an "expectation of privacy" on a computer at work.
