I recently purchased a new car. The day after i took it home the check engine light came on. I took it to the dealer and they told me I will probably need a new transmission. The car has been in the shop for two weeks. The dealer is doing all he can to fix the car, but I don't feal that he is trying hard enough. In the meen time, I am without my new large car for two weeks driving around in a $30 a day rental. What is the lemon law in NYS and how do I make it work for me?
