Is it legal to tape record noise or yelling coming from your neighbors house next door and us it in a restraining order violation.I live in California

you can tape things you here outside. you cannot trespass to get to a position to hear things though.

What kind of restraining order do you have that would limit what the neighbors say in their own house?
