do i have enough for a civil suit

My parents got a credit card in my name and charged it up. Now they are refusing to pay for it. Could I file a civil suit even if I did not file fraud charges against them? Louisiana

so do i just go to the court or should i get a lawyer?

I would never advise anyone to go to any court without a lawyer.

A lot of people do, however.

Because you want to sue your parents, however, you may have some problems (one family member suing another).

So, get a lawyer. (The court will not give you legal advice.)
