What is the name of your state? Texas-i had a divorce lawyer, but decided to quit using him. now my husbands lawyer says he can not send me any correspondence or anything until my lawyer writes to him and tells him he is no longer representing me. is this right? my lawyer is mad at me for quitting him so he won't send the letter.

you can file a petition with the court to remove your attorney so that you can represent yourself. Are you planning to hire new counsel?
