Can a judge assign an extra amount of money for the plaintif based on punitive judgments in a small claims action?

I don't think there is any "punitive" in small claims?...

Am I wrong? :confused:

Judge Joe Brown does it all the time. I even seen the Judge on "The People's Court" do it a couple of times. Judge Judy doesn't play that! I've never seen her do it.:D
