What is the name of your state? California

Sold a large piece of furniture and when folks came to pick it up, they told me they planned on carrying it out after removing doors, glass windows, drawers, etc. This was to make it lighter they said and should be no problem for them to carry. Seemed reasonable but turned out they were not strong enough and dropped and damaged my beautiful wood floor. They agreed to repair and work things out with me. I gave them a receipt and included a statement that damage was done. They've gone back on their promise and commitment and refuse to repair or repay me. What's your advise?
