What is the name of your state? Michigan

9 years ago I was diagnossed with Schizophrenia and collecting disability. I started working and collected an overpayment of $3000. The past couple of years SS has taken my federal taxes and I still owe them $2000. I have since become disabled again and can no longer work. With my mental state I doubt I can work.

Can I collect for disability? I've been told they'll take it out of any future SSDI I would recieve.
