What is the name of your state? Alabama

We have a new neighbor who just recently moved in.
I had no idea who he was at first. He just started walking through
our front and back yard and woods
and also he went through the neighbors yard beside us
in the horse pen and in my neighbors barn.
When I found him in my back yard, I asked him what he was doing
and he said he was "just passing through".

Our Land is clearly marked with No Trespassing and Private Property signs
and we never let strangers just pass through our property like that.
I told him to get off my property and if I see him on it again
I will call the sheriffs department. We live in a rural area.

Two days later my neighbor caught him at his horse pen again
bothering his horses. Our good neighbor said the strange man
did not "seem right mentally". I have children to think of and protect
and I Do Not want this strange man nosing around my Land.

If he continues will I be able to have him arrested for trespassing
and maybe even stalking, harrassment and restraining orders
if he won't stop? He does not live right beside me, he lives 2 doors down
from me in an old brown trailer that he put there recently, renting the space
and he has no business on my Land. I don't like the idea of him scouting out
the area and walking past my kids window when he should Not be there
in the first place.

You should not have even wasted the time it took to type your post without calling the sheriff and tell them you are not comfortable and why.

Could be an innocent, lonely person nosing around in hopes someone will come out and talk a bit but you DO NOT know that.
