Is it legal for a company to force you to sign or initial training documents or other papers? How does this apply to ISO certification? What can be done if you refuse to put your signature or inital on something, and what about documents you've already signed, can you legaly remove your signature? I live and work in Ohio, which I'm aware has few laws protecting workers.

I am a law school graduate. What I offer is mere information, not to be construed as forming an attorney client relationship.

What types of documents? Please be a little more specific.

No one can force you to sign anything and the rule about duress doesn't apply here unless there was a gun to your head (literally).

Are you talking about non competes? confidentiality? non disclosure?regular employment contracts?

Might want to check out the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Equal Employment Opportunity commission too. These can be found via regular internet links or going to the employment law section of freeadvice.com
