What is the name of your state? = New Jersey

My general contractor has taken a little over *one year* to try to get a heated floor in my bathroom to work. The GC (& electrician - who are fighting as an aside) have broken into my wall 3 times to try to fix the connections in order for the floor to work - to no avail. [it did work for 2.5 mos. over the year then just stopped working.]

It's still not working and I'm wondering if I have any recourse... ?

The GC is in no rush to get this done - and I can't wait any longer... Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
