Hello. My neighbor has seven trees lining the side of his yard approximately three feet from a split rail fence. Everytime I use my riding mower to mow the lawn I have to either duck under the branches or raise them above my head to continue.

Can I cut the portion of the branch that exceeds over the fence into my yard? The simple solution would be to ask my neighbor, but he is very retaliatory when spoken to and does not listen to reason.

Thanks for all help!!

Dan
