T

toasted?

I was fired in September and given a four week notice. 2 weeks after being fired my boss told me he needed me back. He couldn't offer me a salary increase, but he did say that he could give me 8 weeks compensation severance should the company close. Well, the company closed. I was fired in September, rehired in late September, and the company closed in early December. When I brought up the compensation severance issue, he said that he did not remember. All that he could remember was 2 weeks severance. I don't have anything in writing. Is there a way for me to receive what I'm owed or am I toasted?
