My sister in Green bay Wisconsin has 3 young children.
Her husband has found a new friend. She is devestated however is beginning to understand she needs to move on with her life however does not know how to preceed? She would like to sell their home and purchase a different house however she works part-time and is financially dependent upon her husband?

What steps should she take?

Should she get an attorney? How much will it will cost?
Do you have list of reccomended attorneys in the Green bay area?

What she does is open a new seperate a/c and slowly moves funds into there. Then she uses the money to retain an attorney and file for legal seperation. Are children involved ? Are we just talking about the property ?

The next legal step is to get an attorney. I can not help you on the moral or marriageable side of things.

With 3 children and property, she will need an attorney. If he is difficult, an attorney could cost up to 5k when all is done.. but, she can petition to have him pay for legal costs if she has no varible income. Most attorneys will want $1500 as a retainer to get started.
