I'm wondering if there is a way to find out if a divorce went through or not..My boyfriend was going through a divorce when we moved out of state..I know his ex really wanted a divorce, would it have continued without him? Are there any websites to find out about divorces..this happenned in Elkhart county, Indiana. Thanks..

My response:

It's highly doubtful that the courts from Elkhart, Indiana, have case files of litigants on the Internet.

You can hire an "attorney service" in Indiana to go to the Family Law courthouse where the case would have been filed and have them check the court dockets for any filing. Give them the name of the case; e.g., his name versus her name, or vice versa, and they'll let you know if anything was filed and / or finalized.

Call any attorney's office in Indiana and ask for the name and number of their attorney service, and give them a call. They'll help you.
