What is the name of your state? NC\
I bought a used car 4months ago...As of yesterday the car is disabled. The transmission is shot, along with the clutch and CV axles...To fix this problem, it will cost upwards of $2500. The car was being sold for $2500 when I purchased it...I only have $1100 left to pay. The dealer is willing to do nothing. Is there any help for me? Or am I just "stuck with a lemon"?

If you bought it from a private seller , the cost is your responsibility , otherwise ( I don't know about NC used auto sales ) , look at any warranties .

Two problems....
1) Your state lemon law, as most states, does NOT cover used vehicles.
2) Since this mechanical problem has happened four MONTHS after the sale, the dealer has no liability.
