ADA requirements

What is the name of your state? Maryland. We moved to a new condo because my husband had a stroke and is wheelchair bound. The builders did not flush the floors correctly so that my husband has a hard time moving from one room to another due to the fact the transition strips are too high. Is there any ADA requirements that would require the builders to make the floors more even?

Your best bet would be to check with your local building permits departmen. Was this building advertised as being wheelchair accessable or ADA certified?
