What is the name of your state? Georgia

Ok, I borrowed a friends car but was sitting at an exit from a shopping center waiting to be able to proceed into traffic where an 82 year old woman lightly tapped the passenger side of the car (she did not see me sitting there). The owner spoke with her at the scene and advised me not to call the police but get her name and number. I did just that. He has since had 3 estimates done and the lady stated she would pay but didn't have money right now. What grounds does the owner have in this matter? What can he do? Am I responsible for the damage as well even though it was her fault? She is admitting blame. HELP!

File a claim with her insurance company, or file one with yours and let them go after her insurance.
