What's the best course of action if you have documented evidence a rental car damage claim is incorrect, false or fraudulent but the claims company will not drop the claim?

Have you presented the documented evidence to the claims company? If yes, what was their response? If you haven't presented the evidence to them, why not?

The claims company provided a copy of the check-in slip from the subsequent renter vehicle showing damage was found when they check-in the vehicle(four days after we returned the vehicle).

This information was sent back to the claims company. They don't acknowledge the discrepancy and keep sending the same form letter with charges and threats to turn it over to a collection agency.

The evidence also shows the vehicle was in use the same days they are charging for "loss of use and the day they claim the vehicle was repaired.
