i purchased a vechicle at an auto auction. THE VEHICLE BLEW ON THE WAY HOME, NO REFUND. I HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE NOW FOR OVER A YEAR AND STILL NO TITLE. I WOULD LIKE TO RETURN VEHICLE FOR A REFUND SINCE I HAVE NO TITLE IS THIS POSSIABLE?

What were the terms of the auction (what do you have in writing)? Usually it is "as-is", and it is up to you to check out the car as much as possible before bidding (which might not be much more than looking at it, or possibly idling it).

Why would you pay for the car if they did not give you the title at that time (or was there a loan instead of a cash deal)?

You have an SOL problem and SOL does not mean statutes of limitiations.
