What is the name of your state? Arizona

Can an officer us "VISUAL" as proper means for measuring a person's one speed? Would this hold up in court, because I'm ready to fight this one!!!!! There was never a radar gun used, he never tailed me!!:eek: :eek:What is the name of your state?

A: Yes.

You can always challenge the officer's training and experience on the issue. Depending on the circumstances (such as your whipping by at 50+ in a 25 MPH zone) or whether or not the officer has been radar certified (which generally means they have been qualified with visual speed observations), you may not fare too well.

But, you can certainly seek the training records in discovery and you do have a right to confront him in court.

Traffic school (if available to you) might be an option.
