hit by uninsured driver

What is the name of your state? Missouri. I was at work inside and a guy backed into my car. Police were called and the insurance info he gave was bogus. He has no insurance and the car belongs to someone else. If I turn it into my insurance I will have to pay 500.00 deductable. Can I sue f or this and a rent a car? Is there any thing else I can get for all the hassle? Thank you for your help.....pugmomma
