What is the name of your state? Virginia

Was severely corrected by superior about hiring "those" people. Within a few months, I was basically asked to leave my high paying position with benefits, though offered a much lower paying position at home, without benefits, by same person who reprimanded me for hiring such people. What is statute of limitations in Virginia???

Statute of limitations for what? You haven't stated anything in your post that even hints at any dicrimination legal or illegal.

Reading between the lines, I'm inferring that you believe you were terminated in retaliation for hiring minorities after having been warned not to do so.

If that is the case, the statute of limitations for filing a discrimination claim would be 180 days after the last instance of discrimination (in your case, the termination); 300 days if you are in a deferral state. In a quick search I could not tell if VA is a deferral state but when mitousmom comes by I'm sure she'll know.
